JakeBox Terms and Conditions. Oct 31, 2011
Prices
All prices in the price list are updated quarterly and calculated per unit, excluding VAT and shipping. The listed price includes one prepress cost (artwork check-up, preparation of artwork for print, making and sending pdf proofs for approval, and rendering 4C CMYK plates).
All prices are subject to exchange rate fluctuations.
Delivery Time
For basic custom print JakeBoxes, normal production time is seven (7) working days, plus one day per up to 10 000 units, from date of final approval of artwork until date when order is ready to be shipped, provided that a complete written purchase order is placed five (5) working days in advance. For additional options, delivery time is extended as follows:
Custom print on claw and flipside print: 1 day per item
Spot UV, embossing or hotfoil: 4 days
For card ejectors, production time is 3 weeks from approval date, if order is placed at least 5 days in advance.
Delivery dates are not guaranteed, unless express shipping is ordered explicitly.
Date of final approval of artwork is when pdf proofs, based on customer’s files, are approved by customer, and are ready for print, not when artwork is first submitted to JakeBox.
Complete purchase order is defined as written, e-mailed or faxed JakeBox order sheet, containing name, VAT-number, invoice address, delivery address, contact person, contact details, complete product specifications, volume and requested delivery date.
Working days are weekdays (Monday through Friday) except bank holidays, Summer and Christmas Holidays.
Shipping
Shipping is arranged by JakeBox AB if so demanded by the customer, and paid by the customer. Standard shipping is selected except if express shipping is explicitly requested and paid for by the customer. JakeBox AB waives responsibility for damages caused during shipping.
Under/over delivery
JakeBox AB has the ambition to always deliver the exact ordered quantity, but exercises right to 5% under or over delivery if necessary. Customers will be charged for the delivered amount. Customer has the option to demand exact quantity, at a fee of 5% of the order.
Payment
For first orders from new customers, and orders from customers with inadequate payment record, JakeBox excersises prepayment, prior to production.
Payment is due 20 days from date of invoice, unless otherwise stated by written agreement, and should be effectuated by bank transfer IBAN / Swift only. Checks are not accepted.

Reference samples
JakeBox AB has the right to keep surplus units, and use these, and/or images of them for promotional use.
Artwork Specifications
Artwork should be made in accordance with specifications/check list under jakebox.com/templates
Should artwork not comply to these specifications, or be changed by customer after submission, JakeBox will amend or handle amendments at a fee of 90 EUR per hour.
Copyright
The customer is responsible for securing complete copyright to all submitted artwork. JakeBox will not take responsibility for third party claims regarding immaterial rights to any parts of submitted material.
Submission of Artwork
Artwork should be submitted in accordance with instructions under jakebox.com/templates
Quality assurance and complaints
JakeBox AB is through subsidiaries subject to ISO quality management standards. Complaints on apparent faults regarding print, die-cutting, assembly or invoice must be filed within eight (8) days of delivery to be valid. Complaints on less apparent faults, e.g. inadequate gluing, may be filed within six (6) months of delivery.
If complaints are deemed valid by ISO standards, JakeBox will reproduce replacement products for faulty products within three (3) weeks. If agreed with the customer and sub-contractors, JakeBox AB may instead deduct agreed value reduction from invoice.
Legal conditions
All terms and conditions, including those not mentioned in this file, are according to Swedish Law.
